PiBoIdMo Day #14: Tall Tina

Julie Gribble asking today, "How Tall is Your Reader?" gave me the idea to write a story about a fantastically tall girl who has a hard time on her first day of school because of her height, but ends the day by declaring that it had been "too short."

Here were the funnest lines to write:
She was so tall, her mother had to climb a ladder to mark her height.

She was so tall, she could ride any ride in the amusement park.

She was so tall, she let her father sit on her shoulders at parades.
The first draft, at only 217 words, is a very short story, but believe me, it's a wonderfully tall tale!

  1. Oh WOW! Love this tale! Funny, I was usually the tallest girl in class! It's a gift to me that the video inspired you :-)

    1. It also inspired me to never harm a pigeon in any pb related activity I might ever undertake!
